ALPO OKSAHARJU
Writer / Artist / Designer, Theory Interactive
Roughly 5 years ago Alpo switched from a semi professional musician and a freelance graphic designer path to pursue a lifelong dream of becoming a story creator and teller. He also switched from machine engineering studies at the Helsinki University of Technology to 3d studies at EVTEK Institute of Technology (now called Metropolia). After graduation he worked at Futuremark Games Studio as a 3d Designer/Lead Game Designer on Shattered Horizon. But the calling of the dream soon jolted Alpo to form his own independent game studio Theory Interactive together with Senior Programmer Mikko Kallinen, also from Futuremark. Theory Interactive was formed in the summer of 2011 to facilitate the development of the single player co-op first person puzzle game Reset. Alpo’s playground in the project is the field of writing, art and game design.
