Who we are Digital Storytelling is an Oslo-based seminar series on visual effects and creative technology. This website is operated by Kim Baumann Larsen and Angela Amoroso. You can contact us at privacy@digistorytelling.com.

What information we collect When you register interest in our events or sign up for updates, we collect your name, email address, and optionally your professional affiliation. When you purchase a ticket, we additionally collect your phone number and information necessary to complete your registration and payment. Your phone number is required by Checkin for ticket purchase and payment processing, including payment via Vipps.

How we use your information We use your information solely to send you event updates and announcements related to Digital Storytelling, and to administer event registration and ticket sales. We will never sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for their own purposes..

Data processor We use the following third-party services to process personal data on our behalf:

Mailchimp (Intuit Inc.) — We use Mailchimp to manage our contact list and send event updates and announcements. Mailchimp processes data on our behalf under a Data Processing Agreement. You can review Mailchimp's privacy policy at mailchimp.com.

Checkin (Checkin AS) — We use Checkin to manage event registration and ticket sales. Checkin processes personal data including name, email, phone number, and payment information on our behalf for the purpose of event administration. Data is stored on Amazon Web Services servers in Ireland. Please note that transaction data related to payments cannot be deleted under Norwegian accounting law (bokføringsloven), though such data is used solely for accounting purposes.

Cookies This site uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website. Analytics cookies are only placed with your consent. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser cookies. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Your rights Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in the footer of any email we send.
